Your Role

• Interface with project team members to complete assigned tasks.
• Undertake calculations, analysis and simulations from basic or first principles following established design practices as directed by senior engineers.
• Prepare basic design and/or engineering reports when requested.
• Assist in the management of drawing and document lists, distribution matrices, squad check coordination and records management.
• Familiarity with applicable industry codes and standards.
• Prepare and manage material take‑offs and requisition packages.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Registered as an EIT with APEGA.
• 0‑3 years of experience. New graduates are welcome to apply!
• Some experience or knowledge in oil and gas, mining, or municipal sectors an asset.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others team members and engineering disciplines
• Self‑starter and highly motivated individual looking for career growth opportunities.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Sound judgement and initiative.
• Experience using 3D AutoCad or equivalent considered an asset.
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
