Qualifications

• Red-Seal certification is mandatory for the role.
• Must possess a valid BC Driver’s License with a clear abstract.
• Physical capability to lift 50lbs comfortably.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, install, repair, and maintain sprinkler systems.
• Read and interpret engineered drawings.
• Install overhead sprinkler systems in compliance with building codes.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 14 & 10

Reading blueprints and schematics

Ability to use hand tools

Good eye-hand coordination

Ability to use power tools properly

Education

Red-Seal Certification as a Sprinkler Fitter

BlazeMaster Certification (obtained/plans to obtain)
