Journeyman Plumber

Key Information
  • Responsible for plumbing installations, maintenance and emergencies
  • Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season

Job Description
  • Responsible for plumbing installations, maintenance and emergencies.
  • Plumbing tie-ins for new temporary and permanent structures.
  • Responsible for carrying out work in compliance with applicable safety codes.
  • Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.
Experience and Certification Requirements
  • Journeyman/woman Plumber Certification (Red Seal would be an asset) with 5 or more years of experience
  • Post-secondary education - trades training, required.
  • Precise workmanship and strong interpersonal skills, desired.
  • Strong background in trouble shooting, required.
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, desired
  • Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in plumbing and construction.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge.
  • CSTS 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
  • A reliable means of transportation is required.
  • Proficient English language skills required.

Education: Journeyman Certification (Red Seal is an asset).
