We are currently seeking a IT Project Manager / Senior Project Coordinator - REMOTE to join our team in Vancouver, British Columbia (CA-BC), Canada (CA).
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Coordinator / IT Project Manager to lead and coordinate application integration projects from initiation through delivery. The role is focused on planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, risk mitigation, reporting, and quality assurance to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of all stakeholders.
Project planning & scheduling: Create and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, milestones, and resource schedules. Coordinate task assignments and ensure activities align with the project plan.
Communication & coordination: Serve as the central point of contact between internal teams, clients, vendors, and stakeholders. Facilitate meetings, circulate agendas/minutes, and ensure clear, timely communication.
Risk management: Identify, assess, and document project risks and issues. Develop and track mitigation and contingency plans; elevate critical issues appropriately.
Reporting & documentation: Prepare regular project status reports, dashboards, change logs, RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs, and formal documentation for stakeholders and audit purposes.
Quality control: Define and enforce quality standards, acceptance criteria, and testing/validation processes. Coordinate quality reviews and sign‑offs.
Stakeholder management: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams. Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder alignment on scope, schedule, and deliverables.
Monitoring & evaluation: Track project progress against KPIs (schedule, budget, scope, quality). Conduct post‑project reviews and capture lessons learned to improve future delivery.
Change control: Manage change requests, evaluate impacts, obtain approvals, and update plans and documentation.
7+ years experience in project management or project coordination, preferably with progressively increasing responsibility on complex projects.
7+ years of experience developing project plans and schedules. Proficient with scheduling and collaboration tools.
7+ years identifying risks, creating mitigation plans, and resolving issues.
7+ years of documentation skills and experience preparing executive‑level status reports and dashboards.
7+ years implementing quality controls and ensuring deliverables meet organizational and client standards.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
Stakeholder management: Proven ability to manage vendor relationships and liaise with cross‑functional teams.
Monitoring & evaluation: Experience tracking project KPIs and conducting lessons‑learned reviews.
Education:
Technical proficiency: Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint (for reporting and presentations).
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to present to senior stakeholders and clients.
