Arobas personnel is looking for a IT Data Analyst for a permanent with one of our clients located in Montreal.

Your Responsibilities:

• Actively contribute to the execution of IT development projects.
• Implement and continuously optimize BI processes, aligning them with business needs and industry best practices.
• Ensure rigorous monitoring and improvement of procedures to guarantee service quality.
• Develop and maintain an internal knowledge base, including technical documentation.
• Write complex SQL queries or Python/R scripts to extract, transform, and analyze multi-source data.
• Design, deploy, and maintain complete cloud solutions integrating data management and transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to collect and analyze data, providing actionable recommendations.
• Design and implement data models (star schemas, semantic models) to optimize analytics and reporting.
• Use M and DAX to develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards.

Required Profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 8–12 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
• Good knowledge of Python / R.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, Fabric).
• Understanding of data security best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
