The opportunity
Based in our office in Toronto, the Investment Analyst will be an integral part of the High Conviction Equities (“HCE”) team and focus on global TMT public equities. The HCE TMT team is responsible for a highly concentrated portfolio that delivers outsized idiosyncratic returns. The Analyst will support senior investment professionals in analyzing potential investment opportunities, buildout data analytic tools and help with monitoring TMT companies under coverage.
Who you will work with
The Equities department is responsible for leading the fund’s $40B+ private and public equity portfolios. This opportunity is with the High Conviction Equities (HCE) team, which invests in public and near-public companies globally and across most sectors. HCE is a long-term oriented, bottom-up stock picking team with a strong emphasis on deep industry knowledge, valuation, forecasting and modeling. Reporting to a Managing Director in the team, the Investment Analyst will gain valuable insight into formulating and executing on investment theses, get exposure to different industries under the TMT umbrella, and learn about portfolio management and risk management practices from a team of seasoned investment professionals.
