Qualifications

Our public sector client is seeking an Intermediate Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to support the testing and quality assurance of enterprise applications and digital services. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring systems meet functional, performance, and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement across the SDLC.

This role requires a hands‑on tester who can work closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners in a structured, regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and UAT support testing
  • Validate system requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Identify, document, track, and retest defects using defect management tools
  • Collaborate with developers and BAs to resolve issues efficiently
  • Support testing activities across multiple environments
  • Participate in sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives
  • Ensure testing aligns with public sector standards and best practices
  • Maintain clear and accurate QA documentation and test evidence
Qualifications
  • 3–5 years of QA experience in application testing
  • Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall environments
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Hands‑on experience with manual testing

Technical Skills

  • SQL for basic data validation (nice to have)
  • API testing experience (Postman or similar – asset)
