The Role

This full-time, hybrid position gives you the opportunity to lead complex mechanical engineering projects while remaining hands-on with design and system upgrades. You will manage HVAC, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, and building automation initiatives, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver practical, high-impact solutions across a variety of projects.

Responsibilities
  • Lead design development, client communication and construction administration for mechanical projects
  • Conduct feasibility and assessment studies on mechanical and automation systems
  • Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and implement mechanical solutions
  • Support project managers and architects throughout the entire project lifecycle
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or College Diploma with at least seven years of consulting experience
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario, additional provincial licenses are a plus
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, building controls, plumbing and life safety systems
  • Familiarity with applicable codes and standards
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate with teams across disciplines
  • Strong communication, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel within Ontario and to other provinces
  • Valid Class G driver’s license and access to a vehicle
