Overview

Our client is a North American print and packaging manufacturer. We are looking for an Industrial Electrician who is a 3rd or 4th year apprentice, or is Red Seal certified for this weekday, day shift opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Perform all facets of electrical maintenance in a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting and maintaining production equipment, electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
• Repairing, replacing, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment and electrical components.
• Running new power lines to new or relocated equipment, wiring control panels.
• Modify, rebuild, install equipment as required, and according to manufacturer specifications.
• Other electrical work as required.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrician responsibilities as described; must be a 3rd or 4th year apprentice or Red Seal certified.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced team-oriented processing and manufacturing environment.
• Strong commitment to health and safety best practices.
• Experience with modern and legacy equipment; knowledge of PLC and HMI is an asset.
• Positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to learn in a modern, progressive environment.
