In-house Director or VP Legal | 5 – 10 years | Calgary

We’re working with a long established and highly successful Calgary-based private equity investment firm, now looking to hire another lawyer to join their team. You’ll be working directly with their General Counsel, and closely embedded with their internal business units, working on a wide range of interesting deals.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the General Counsel and be closely embedded with internal business units on a wide range of corporate transactions.
• Support private equity deals, including cross-border transactions where applicable.

Qualifications

• Strong corporate transactional experience, especially with private equity.
• Exposure to cross-border deals.
• Tax experience is useful but not required.
