Job summary

A leading HVAC service provider in Metro Vancouver seeks an experienced technician to install and maintain ventilation and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will have a secondary education and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Strong attention to detail and a customer-focused attitude are essential. This is a permanent position offering 30-40 hours of work per week in English.

Qualifications

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in HVAC systems.
• Ability to install and troubleshoot heating and cooling systems.
• Experience in providing customer service.

Responsibilities

Tasks

• Install ventilation, air handling and air conditioning systems
• Measure and lay out reference points for installation
• Read blueprints or other instructions to determine work requirements
• Troubleshoot heating systems
• Troubleshoot ventilation, air handling, refrigeration and air conditioning systems
• Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components
• Provide customer service
• Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
