The Human Resources Analytics and Systems Staff Specialistopening is a current vacant position at General Dynamics Land Systems – Canada. The base salary hiring range for this position is $77,600 to $102,000 per year. Once in the role, successful candidates will have the opportunity to progress through the full salary range based on performance. This range reflects the base salary only and does not include additional components of our total compensation package, such as our incentive award program and other rewards like health benefits, employee profit-sharing, retirement savings, and more. Key Job Elements
  • Work with the Human Resources (HR) Leadership Team, HR Business Partners and cross-functionally within HR to collect, research and analyze HR data to generate and present meaningful business insights
  • Understand human capital objectives and conducts research to produce reports with measurable purpose, providing observations, recommendations and solutions
  • Automate and integrate HR processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency within HR
  • Lead the administration of our HR systems
  • Lead in the rollout and implementation of new HR systems
  • Troubleshoot data and reports, and manage on-going performance and development of HR systems
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance custom reports and dashboards for HR
  • Develop, produce and deliver presentations
  • Liaise with IT and global HR colleagues
  • Assist in various HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications
  • University degree or college diploma
  • Minimum 5+ years of business analytics and systems administration experience
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to translate business and HR requirements into technical solutions
  • Experience with performing quantitative/statistical analysis and displaying the results as meaningful insights
  • Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Advanced skill level in Microsoft Office applications, with Excel expertise
  • Experience with Power BI and other business intelligence reporting environments is required
  • Exceptional project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects with demanding timelines
  • Ability to work with multiple sources of data and excellent attention to detail
