Qualifications

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction.
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 30 pounds.
• Able to reach, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.

We are also on a bus route, with a stop just outside of the hotel, and are offering shared staff accommodation. Our complimentary shuttle also picks up our employees from the bus loop at UBCO!

What will you be doing?

• Responding to guests requests in a timely manner
• Must be able to work well independently
• Assisting with laundry, washing and delivering linen to the floors
• Stocking the housekeeping closets with linen, guest supplies and cleaning supplies
• Assisting other departments when necessary
• Perform other related duties as assigned

What are we looking for?

• Possess a keen eye for detail
• Self-starter, with time management and organizational skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 30 pounds without assistance
• Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction
