Salary: The Opportunity:
The Hospitality Aide will serve the community of Points West Living Drayton Valley, Alberta. The Hospitality Aide is responsible for ensuring top resident care is a priority, with a focus on effective time management.
We are seeking candidates interested in:
- Permanent Part-time 0.3 FTE (Evenings)
- Permanent Part-time 0.43 FTE (Evenings)

- A strong knowledge of and commitment to Person-Directed Care approaches
- Familiarity with the Eden Alternative Philosophy and the Domains of Well-Being (an asset)
- Aiming for excellence in Resident, family, and Employee Care Partner satisfaction
- Friendly demeanor with a sense of humor and respect for all care partners
- Ability to build partnerships with residents, families, employees, volunteers, external care partners, and the community to ensure vibrancy
- Creating a welcoming, relaxed, relationship-driven atmosphere where everyone feels at home
- Flexible, willing to prioritize and adapt routines, open to change for community benefit
- Excellent time and resource management skills
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, effective in crisis situations

- Flexible to assist with daily community life on short notice
- Engages in ongoing monitoring and quality improvement
- Conducts random audits to ensure compliance
- Participates in Emergency Management, Infection Control, WHMIS, and Health & Safety protocols
- Identifies and reports health, safety, or maintenance issues
- Participates in educational programs
Foundational Knowledge and Experience:
- Food Safe Certificate is an asset
- Experience in hospitality, food service, or recreation is an asset
- Must obtain a clear criminal record and vulnerable sector check prior to employment
