Overview
As a Sales Advisor, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding customers through your store to actively sell our products and provide support and guidance. You will use your fashion and product knowledge to provide customers with all relevant information for the best experience, and contribute to garment refill & care, presentation and a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house, working closely with your store team to deliver an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service: welcoming and guiding customers through the store and omni experience where available, supporting them with direct customer service
- Engage with customers to provide excellent service and conversations
- Guide customers through fashion trends, stories and products in all areas of the store
- Effectively promote and sell our products
- Actively promote our Customer Loyalty App (Hello Member) and in-store sustainability initiatives
- Represent the H&M brand positively during all customer interactions
- Support with commercial or operational actions to reach sales targets with store management
Fashion & Trend Awareness
- Keep up-to-date with fashion scene, trends, tendencies, styles, brands, products, competitors and relevant influencers
- Use product and fashion knowledge to share relevant information with customers
Team & Development
- Retain and share service, fashion and store operations knowledge with colleagues
- Follow all procedures, routines and legal requirements in all areas of the store
- Give and receive feedback with colleagues to learn, develop and support each other
- Participate in onboarding, introduction processes and trainings and courses relevant for role and future development
Retail Operations / Visual & Commercial Execution
- Complete full garment cycle from unpacking and refill to steaming and garment care
- Operate fitting room and checkout areas according to best practice and processes
- Contribute to a clean and tidy sales floor and back of house (including stockrooms)
- Support garment presentation and maintenance of attractive merchandise displays, clear trends & stories according to visual & commercial guidelines
- Ensure good stock levels with replenishment routines on the sales floor
- Maintain in-store OMNI Services & in-store tech services/tools (Instore Care App, Click & Collect, Smart Store etc)
- Support opening and closing of the store
- Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and legal requirements applicable to the role

- Passionate about fashion and what is created in-store
- Motivated by giving customers a great experience
- Strong communication, creativity, curiosity, flexibility, decisiveness and action-orientation
- Enjoy working in a collaborative and dynamic environment
- Sales experience in a dynamic, collaborative environment
- Experience in customer service in fashion, retail or other service-related industries
