Job summary

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

In this role you will:

  • Operate grain dryers.
  • Load and unload containers, materials and products on trucks, or trailers by hand or by forklift truck.
  • Transfer goods, organize the products received and prepare goods for shipment.
  • Receive grain, corn, and soybeans, and grade by sampling, testing, and weighing the product to ensure quality aligns with GROWMARK’s standards.
  • Be available to work some overnight shifts until about mid-December.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
  • A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery.
  • An understanding of electrical panels.
  • Conversational English skills, with the ability to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures; write and make accurate reporting entries, comprehend simple instructions.
