Aboutthe Opportunity

This is a high-visibility, newly created role reporting to the Director of IT Strategy. You will have the unique opportunity to build a global data team from scratch, initially pulling resources from existing teams to establish a robust data management foundation.

• Role Focus: You will lead the transition from a JDE-focused environment to a global, ERP-agnostic data warehouse solution. Your responsibilities include performing assessments, developing data management proposals, and presenting strategies to the executive board and senior stakeholders.
• Strategic Impact: You will work closely with MDM and BI teams to implement solutions that move beyond current JDE limitations, ensuring the organization utilizes Master Data Management to its full potential globally.
• Work Model: 3 days onsite per week.
• Location: Mississauga, ON
• Hours: Monday to Friday, standard 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

About You

• Overall Experience: 10–15 years of total professional experience in data strategy and data management.
• Leadership: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a People Manager (this is a non-negotiable requirement).
• Implementation Track Record: Proven experience leading the implementation of global data solutions.
• Communication: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to secure buy-in from business leaders and collaborate with global teams.
• Commute: Ability to commute to the Mississauga office 3 days per week.

Bonus Items

• Experience transitioning legacy ERP data environments to modern, agnostic cloud-based warehouses.
• Strong background in high-level stakeholder management and executive presentations.
• Professional experience in a global manufacturing or industrial environment.

Salary Range

$160,000/year
