Job description

Language Trainers is a successful language training company working with freelance teachers of 70 different languages in hundreds of towns and cities across the world. Students are either in-company or self-funded who need to learn a language at their office or their home for work, family, or travel reasons. Founded in 2004, the company’s motto is Any Language, Anytime, Anywhere!

We might have a job for you as a German teacher. One of our clients would like to have four-to-one online general German classes.

Some details about the course:

• These clients wish to have classes online and they would like to do a free 30 minutes trial class first (All times are Quebec, Canada time). Their availability to do the trial is:

1. Tuesday - 06:00 - 06:59 PM
2. Tuesday - 07:00 - 07:59 PM
3. Wednesday - 06:00 - 06: PM, all Quebec, Canada time. Please let me know which option is best for you, bearing in mind time difference (you can check it here).

• The student's current level of German is Beginner.
• Motivation to learn German: Sabbatical year in Munich 2028-2029.
• The adult students are between 45-55 years old, and the young ones 8 and 12.

After the taster class, the students would like to start with one session per week of 2 hours, 6pm-8pm, preferably on Tuesdays, or on Thursdays, or on Wednesdays.

Ideal teacher should:

• Be a native German speaker or hold a teaching degree.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter.
• Be based in Quebec, Canada time.
• Live up to 20 miles from the client’s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
