• Sound knowledge in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Knowledge of the Fixing Long-Term Care Act and other relevant regulations.
• Must be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.

Responsibilities

• Implement policies and procedures on the unit in collaboration with the Registered Nurse.
• Liaise with health care team members and notify physicians of changes in resident status.
• Provide direction to Personal Support Workers.
