Responsibilities

• Analyze plans and specifications for commercial tenant improvement projects.
• Perform quantity take‑offs (metering).
• Evaluate and negotiate bids from specialized subcontractors (interior finishing, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
• Prepare detailed cost estimates including materials, labor, equipment, and profit margins.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers to understand specific tenant needs.
• Identify potential risks.
• Propose value engineering solutions to optimize project budgets.
• Maintain and develop a reliable database of costs, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Participate in project start‑up and follow‑up meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in construction estimation.
• Primary focus on retail commercial tenant improvement projects.
• Excellent ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Strong organizational skills and excellent priority management.
• Mastery of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
