A leading language instruction company based in Canada is seeking a French Language Teacher to provide in-person lessons tailored to client needs. This role is freelance and involves creating effective lesson plans, monitoring student progress, and engaging learners in a dynamic manner. Native proficiency in French and a relevant teaching degree are required. Availability for classes primarily on weekdays and some weekends is expected.

Overview

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals and their families worldwide. We are currently looking for a FrenchLanguage Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to one of our clients in Montreal, QC.

Job Information
  • Availability: 4 x week for 1.5 hours; weekdays after 4:30 pm. Weekends are also an option.
  • Preferred start date: asap
  • Lesson duration: 1 hour 30 minutes
  • Native and other spoken languages: English
  • Student’s language needs and goals: He understands when he reads text and can grasp general ideas
Responsibilities
  • Deliver tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons
  • Develop curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes
  • Monitor students’ progress and guide learners toward learning goals
  • Communicate in an efficient, effective, and professional manner
Qualifications
  • Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language
  • Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field
  • Minimum of two years experience
