Job description
Overview

Dialpad is seeking an FP&A Manager, EPD to join our team and play a crucial role in financial planning, forecasting, and analysis. This position partners with Engineering, Product, and Design teams (EPD) and collaborates with senior management and operational teams to provide data-driven insights that support strategic decision-making. The FP&A Manager, EPD will shape the company’s growth strategy by driving financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis across go-to-market functions. The ideal candidate has substantial experience with fast-growing organizations, a SaaS business model, strong analytical and communication skills, and attention to detail.

The role reports to our Head of FP&A and can be based in Vancouver or Austin.

Responsibilities
  • Provide data-driven insights and financial analyses to optimize resource allocation and margins; assess ROI on product and feature development
  • Monitor and influence key metrics such as gross margin, utilization, and R&D investment; provide decision support to enhance profitability
  • Partner with Engineering, Product, and Design leadership to inform financial planning and operating forecasts
  • Lead annual budgeting activities for the EPD team and conduct monthly budget reviews with Senior EPD Leadership
  • Present findings and recommendations to CEO and executive leadership; prepare product/feature adoption and revenue analyses
  • Summarize financial plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts for management
  • Prepare cohesive reports with clear communication; conduct special studies and recommend actions
  • Support other projects as needed
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least 5 years of combined accounting and FP&A experience; SaaS experience and support for EPD organizations strongly preferred
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace; advanced skills in Google Sheets or Excel
  • Strong financial modeling, analysis, and monthly reporting experience
  • Experience with FP&A/forecasting tools such as Adaptive or Anaplan is a plus
Location & Compensation

British Columbia, Canada Salary Range: $89,250 - $110,250 CAD; base salary ranges determined by role, level, and location. Compensation may vary by location and additional factors. The posted salary reflects the base salary for new hires; bonus, equity, and benefits are not included in the base figure. Your recruiter can share the specific range for your location during hiring.
