A community-focused child welfare agency seeks a Foster Care Resource Worker in Wikwemikong, Ontario. Responsibilities include delivering the Foster Care Program in accordance with First Nation values and standards. Candidates should possess a relevant social work degree, with preferred experience in child welfare and Anishinabek traditions. Competitive salary and a comprehensive benefit package offered.
STARTING SALARY: $67,676.17
Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the Foster Care Resource Worker is responsible for the delivery of the Foster Care Program; and ensures, that the program is implemented in a manner based on unity, traditions, values, beliefs, and customs of the First Nation serviced by the Agency; and, per the funding agreements and the First Nations’ standards.
