Job description

The forklift operator (Combi and Counterbalance) will be working an 8-hour afternoon shift on our client's side in Woodbridge, ON.

Shift

2 pm - 10 pm

Essential Functions

• Use the scanning system to locate products in the warehouse
• Pick the right products as requested by the worksheet
• Put up the correct bulk up on the mezzanine as indicated on the daily production schedule
• Shrink wrap all finished products and scan them into a location in the warehouse
• Properly operate a counterbalance forklift
• Comply with all safety requirements and company policies
• All products moved from the warehouse must be well identified
• Report damaged material when moving out finished products
• Report any wrongly labeled parts or bulk found on the production floor

Non-Essential Functions

• Wash drums and skids
• Clean and sanitize the blending room
• Perform various other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications

• High school, or equivalent education
• Knowledge of working with Steel, aluminum, and bronze is an asset.
• Able to communicate well, both verbally and in writing, also with good mathematical skills
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously
