We have an exciting Sales role on our Foodservice team in Northern Alberta, Canada. The territory includes Northern Alberta and the role focuses on growing product sales by maintaining current accounts and soliciting new accounts, budgeting, and negotiating effective sales programs to create the highest growth opportunities. Candidates must live in Northern Alberta to be considered.

Responsibilities
  • Grow Commercial and Non-Commercial Foodservice sales by achieving sales targets, maintaining awareness of competitive pressures, and achieving annual new case targets.
  • Build key customer and distributor relationships to support Campbell\u2019s Foodservice sales growth.
  • Achieve Annual Operating Plan case targets for new initiatives or products.
  • Account Development: develop business plans for key customers aligned with Campbell\u2019s fiscal objectives and leverage Marketing to create selling tools.
  • Secure customer meetings, quantify opportunities, sample products, and negotiate contracts.
  • Report monthly on volume tracking against targets.
  • Account Maintenance: maintain a customer database with contracts, contacts, meetings, product testing results, and competitive information; update monthly risk and opportunities reports.
  • Address complaints, present new products, and renegotiate contracts; provide customer care and sales support to operators using Campbell\u2019s portfolio; respond to complaints within 24 hours.
  • Coordinate involvement in regional trade shows, manage sampling orders, gather marketing tools, and schedule show coverage; lead distributor trainings and customer planning events with external customers.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to execute strategies, plans, and new product launches.
Requirements, Skills and Capabilities
  • University or College degree, business preferred.
  • Experience in the Foodservice Industry required.
  • Must live in the Northern Alberta area.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and account management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and negotiate effectively.
