In light of our rapid business expansion, abm is seeking a Financial Analyst to support both financial analysis and accounting reporting. This hybrid role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys combining accurate financial reporting (accounting) with analytical insights to support management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Analysis & Accounting Reporting
  • Prepare monthly management reports (actual vs. budget vs. prior year)
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide clear, concise explanations
  • Analyze revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses by department and product line
  • Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes
  • Assist with cash‑flow forecasting and working‑capital analysis
  • Support pricing, cost, and margin analysis, including in‑house vs. OEM products
  • Prepare ad‑hoc financial analysis to support management and strategic initiatives
  • Perform full‑cycle accounting tasks
Systems & Process Improvement
  • Support accounting and ERP systems
  • Assist with reporting automation, data validation, and process improvements
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Marketing, Operations, and HR
  • Support enhancements to finance documentation and internal controls
Qualifications & Skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong Excel and PowerBI skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and basic financial modeling
  • 2–5 years of relevant accounting and/or financial analysis experience
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles (ASPE)
  • Experience with accounting or ERP systems
  • High attention to detail with a strong analytical mindset
  • Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
Professional Designations (Assets)
  • CPA (Canada) designation or CPA candidate
  • CFA charter or CFA candidate
Work Location
  • Onsite at our headquarters in Richmond, BC.
  • The successful candidate must be available to start onsite from the first day of employment. No relocation allowance will be provided.
