Qualifications

  • 3-5 years’ experience with enterprise financial systems, preferably Oracle EPM.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or ERP is considered an asset.
  • Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

This role is based onsite at our Head Office in Winnipeg, MB. The successful candidate must be willing to relocate as part of the position.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a Finance Systems Analyst with a strong skillset in Oracle EPM or ERP systems and financial process optimization. This role is responsible for maintaining and improving the Oracle EPM Cloud platform (including Planning and Budgeting, Financial Consolidation, and Smart View), enabling Finance and Tax teams to operate with greater accuracy, visibility, and efficiency.

As a systems-focused analyst, you’ll contribute to process design, metadata management, data integrations, and system enhancements that directly impact how NFI Group plans, reports, and forecasts across global operations.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Maintain Oracle EPM metadata (Chart of Accounts, entity structures, custom dimensions) and support change management.
  • Monitor and manage data loads and integration flows.
  • Support development of financial reports and dashboards through in-applications or adhoc reporting.
  • Coordinate system testing (UAT, regression testing), document results, and ensure solution integrity.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate into functional requirements.
  • Maintain system security roles, task lists, and access controls within Oracle EPM Cloud.
  • Contribute to automation and system documentation initiatives, including SOPs and process maps (e.g., using Visio or Lucidchart).
  • Provide functional support and troubleshooting for Oracle EPM end users, including FP&A, Tax, and Accounting.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Tax teams to gather reporting and planning requirements.
  • Translate business needs into technical system solutions, configurations, or enhancements.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects involving process redesign, reporting upgrades, or tool rollouts.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud or ERP is considered an asset.
  • 3-5 years’ experience with enterprise financial systems with a strong preference for Oracle EPM (Enterprise Performance Management).
  • Strong Excel skills and a systems mindset — you enjoy optimizing processes, building structure, and making tools work smarter
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with Finance, Tax, and IT to translate business requirements into system-based solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document, test, and troubleshoot effectively.
  • Ability to problem solve
  • Familiarity with process mapping tools such as Visio or Lucidchart, experience with SQL and JIRA considered an asset.
