Job description

Title – Field Specialist III

Location: Alberta, Canada

Duration: 6 months with possibility of extension

Start date: ASAP

Shift: Monday – Friday from 8am to 8pm (weekends as needed)

Summary: As a Field Specialist, you will operate company equipment to retrieve and manage core samples, ensuring accurate marking and inventory control at the surface. You will collaborate closely with operators and field crews to maintain successful wellsite operations, while performing equipment maintenance and troubleshooting in challenging outdoor environments, including Canadian winter conditions.

This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. You will act as a project leader, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical advice to customers and third-party colleagues. Work is evaluated by supervisors, management, and customers to ensure objectives are met.
