Job summary

A leading agricultural health company in Southern Alberta is seeking a Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join their bovine practice. In this role, you will assist veterinarians with bovine medicine, engage in on-farm health programs, and help build producer relationships. An accredited Animal Health Technology degree and RVT licensure are required. Qualifications

  • Education from an accredited Animal Health Technology college program.
  • RVT licensure with the Alberta Veterinary Medical Association.
  • Strong communication and proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Passion for bovine medicine.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct on-farm health programs and lead herd health initiatives.
  • Assist veterinarians in all aspects of bovine medicine.
  • Work on a rotating schedule to dispense medications and veterinary products.
  • Champion herd health programs and build lasting producer relationships.
