Description :

The Interlake-Eastern RHA (IERHA) is looking for physicians to provide locum services which could include acute care, primary care and long term care, including participating in the ER on-call schedule. Physicians available to provide coverage in the Region's emergency departments on a periodic basis are also encouraged to contact us.

These locum positions provide an opportunity to experience practice in rural and northern communities. More than 122,000 people live in the region and the area experiences a significant population increase during the summer months as cottage owners come to enjoy the lakes and beaches. We are culturally diverse with Aboriginal populations comprising 22 percent of the region’s residents inclusive of 17 First Nation communities. We are also designated as an official French Language Regional Health Authority.

Qualifications :
Must be eligible for immediate registration & licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba and have CMPA coverage within the province.

Compensation :
Compensation is derived from fee-for-service or contract income.
