This role is an on-site position based in Burnaby, British Columbia, reporting to the Director of Operations within the Facilities department.

What you will do
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance on facility infrastructure, building systems, and operational equipment to ensure optimal performance and alignment with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Support and coordinate site initiatives including events, quality programs, operational improvements, environmental health & safety (EHS), and sustainability efforts to drive compliance, continuous improvement, and organizational effectiveness.
  • Manage and maintain security systems and protocols to safeguard personnel, facilities, and assets; oversee contractor management and sustainability programs to foster strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Who you are
  • High school diploma complemented by trades training and/or relevant technical certification, or 3–5 years of technical experience in preventative and corrective maintenance across facilities systems.
  • Demonstrates a proactive approach toward environmental, health, and safety standards and practices.
Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift, move or carry items weighing 30–50 lbs occasionally and perform routine maintenance tasks using hand tools.
Preferred qualifications
  • Building maintenance related training and/or certification.
  • Forklift and scissor lift certification.
  • Project management and coordination to meet customer expectations, manage timelines effectively, and support successful execution of site initiatives.

Salary: The salary range for this role is $56,700 - $67,000 CAD. This is the range we believe is possible at the time of posting and may be adjusted in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
