A major educational institution in Ontario seeks an Executive Director to lead strategic initiatives and provide operational leadership within the Provost's office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and university decision-making processes, along with a commitment to diversity and inclusion. This role requires extensive experience in a high-volume, dynamic environment, along with exceptional analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Hours per Week: 35
Salary Grade: 20
Hiring Range: $130,000 to $175,000, Salary commensurate with experience

About Us
The Office of the Provost provides leadership and strategic direction to the Academic and Administrative Leaders within Western University and the Academic Portfolio in order for the Faculties to be successful in teaching, research and administration.
The Executive Director provides strategic and operational leadership support and advances institutional objectives related to the portfolio supporting the Provost and Vice-President, Academic. The Executive Director is a senior leader responsible for project execution, relationship building, planning, change management, researching relevant data and information and implementation of University strategies, working closely with the Deans, Vice-Provosts, Associate Vice-Presidents and Special Advisors. The strategies usually involve campus wide initiatives (e.g. online and work integrated learning, curriculum renewal projects, etc.), which promote the reputation of the University, its people, education and research successes in order to raise public awareness and influence external stakeholders.
The Executive Director also oversees the Office of the Provost, directs and mentors staff, ensures expedient workflow, leads staff in the mapping and updating of operating procedures and cyclical processes that occur in the Provost's office, such as searches, renewals, reviews, and performance assessments, to ensure smooth and timely outcomes and administrative excellence.
