Job description
Operational Management
  • Responsible for the overall operations of all Tiny Scholars locations
  • Ensure compliance with Child Care Licensing Regulations and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Overall Site Leadership and Development
Licensing and Compliance
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of licensing regulations and ensure the ELC's adherence to all legal requirements.
  • Coordinate and oversee the completion of required certifications, licenses, and clearances for staff.
  • Ensure compliance with childcare licensing standards (provincial)
  • Review, develop, and implement policies and practices in alignment with relevant governing bodies.
Health and Safety
  • Ensure a safe and healthy environment for children, staff, and visitors.
Financial Management
  • Responsible for achieving the budgeted revenue, cost, and profitability targets for each ELC
New Centers / Growth
  • Research and determine the best potential locations for new ELCs
  • Coordinate the various tasks of setting up a new ELC
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Experience opening new ELCs or similar facilities
Certifications
  • Criminal record check and vulnerable persons search
  • Current immunizations and TB clearance.
  • Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
