Job description
About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to support two dynamic, forward-thinking Executives. This role is ideal for a detail-obsessed, tech-curious, and proactive professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, and innovation.

This is more than a support role—it’s a strategic partnership. You will help maximize executive impact by ensuring day-to-day activities are seamless, forward-looking, and intentionally aligned. The right candidate will be a trusted point of connection between leadership and their teams, someone who can juggle high-level priorities while keeping every detail in check. As a key partner to senior leadership, the Executive Assistant will be entrusted with highly sensitive information related to company strategy, personnel decisions, and executive communications. The ability to exercise sound judgment and uphold strict confidentiality is essential to maintaining trust and ensuring seamless support at the highest levels.

The VP of Technology Canada leads an innovation-driven team that supports enterprise-wide platforms and systems. The other, SVP of CDAI NA, guides Data transformation and AI strategy, with a strong focus on scalable growth, product excellence, and cross-functional leadership. Together, they are shaping the future of technology at Compass, and you will play a vital role in making that vision operationally possible.

Job Summary

  • Manage complex calendars across time zones; anticipate needs, resolve scheduling conflicts, and strategically prioritize engagements.
  • Prepare executives for meetings with briefing notes, contextual background, and relevant talking points.
  • Draft communications, presentations, and documentation on behalf of executives as needed.
  • Attend team meetings, take high-quality notes with key decisions and actions, and follow through on assignments.
  • Adept at anticipating executive needs and proactively planning several steps ahead to ensure seamless operations.

Operational Efficiency & Communication

  • Facilitate seamless internal and external communications, ensuring timely follow-ups and message clarity.
  • Serve as a professional representative of the SVP/VP to senior leaders, clients, and partners.
  • Monitor operational rhythms and support team activities, all-hands, and offsites—bringing structure and follow-through to engagement moments.
  • Support regular cadence of business processes like budgets, performance, surveys and more.

AI-Enabled Workflow Improvement

  • Use and experiment with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot…) to streamline repetitive tasks, summarize information, and improve day-to-day productivity.
  • Identify and implement smart workflows and automations to elevate executive capacity and team communication.

Team Engagement & Organizational Support

  • Support leadership team coordination and help foster a connected, informed, and motivated team culture.
  • Jump in on team initiatives, operational projects, or internal communications where appropriate.
