Overview

Hyatt Regency Vancouver is seeking a talented, customer service oriented and dedicated Events Services Server to join our Banquet team.

Responsibilities

• Set up banquet spaces according to event requirements
• Serve guests and provide attentive, professional service
• Clear banquet areas and reset for the next event
• Maintain sanitary event service stations and clean equipment
• Stock replenishment and organization of supplies and equipment
• Coordinate with team to ensure timely service during events

Qualifications

• Must have a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment
• Previous customer service experience required
• Previous food and beverage experience in events is an asset
• Must have Food Safe Level 1 and Serving It Right certificate
• Must be available to work various shifts (AM, MID or PM) including weekends and holidays
• Must be an excellent team player and able to work with a diverse group of individuals and guests
• Must be able to engage customers in a professional conversation at all times
• Must be able to prioritize and multi-task effectively
• Must have refined verbal communication skills

Compensation

Starting wage for this position is $18.52 per hour, after 6 months wage is $21.60 per hour, after 1 year wage is $24.69 per hour.
