We're looking for a passionate, driven, and energetic candidate to join our team as a Environmental Coordinator located in our Head Office in Guelph, Ontario!

Job Description

Skyline is looking to hire an Environmental Coordinator to support all three of Skyline's REITs and our Development Team, coordinating Environmental Site Assessments and Building Condition due diligence, as part of acquisitions, or new construction projects. Additionally, the role will be working with residential and commercial property management teams to coordinate ongoing environmental monitoring of the existing buildings and construction projects. The successful candidate will provide team members insight on technical, process, and environmental matters while maintaining a focus on our shared goal of creating meaningful value and an exceptional experience for our customers, our people, and our communities.

What we look for:
  • Minimum 3 years' environmental consulting experience or principal environmental coordinator role.
  • Previous experience coordinating environmental audits and identifying areas for improvements.
  • Directly supports and reports into the Asset Management and Acquisitions team.
  • A unique ability to keep an eye on compliance while thinking outside the box.
  • Professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
  • Someone who can forecast potential problems before they happen (think the matrix) and use good judgment and innovation to solve it.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in a related field.
  • Post-secondary education in Environmental Science, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field required.
