Job description

Tomlinson Indsutrial Waste is looking for a detail-oriented Environmental Compliance Coordinator to ensure our operations meet all provincial and federal regulatory requirements. This role focuses on compliance oversight training and maintaining environmental approvals across multiple sites.

Location: 5597 Power Rd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all sites operate within their respective certificates of approval
  • Maintain familiarity with Reg. 347 and Reg. 153 ensuring compliance across operations
  • Develop and implement compliance training programs for new employees and ongoing staff development
  • Monitor and document compliance with provincial and federal environmental regulations
  • Support internal audits and prepare for external inspections
  • Collaborate with managers and staff to maintain a culture of compliance
  • Perform other compliance-related duties as required
Qualifications
  • Degree in Environmental Sciences Environmental Management or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of industry experience in compliance permitting or environmental operations
  • Strong knowledge of current provincial and federal environmental regulations
  • Excellent communication and training development skills
