Overview

Parkland County has an opportunity for two temporary, full-time Engineering Summer Student positions in the Engineering department, working from May 4, 2026, until approximately August 28, 2026.

Reporting to the Asset Management Coordinator, the Engineering Summer Students will perform duties including collecting roadway inventory and roadway surface condition data, then summarizing field data into an asset management database utilizing mobile hardware. These positions will utilize database software, Geographic Information System (GIS) technology, and other programs to collect, input, analyze, and display data for all asset types as required. Additionally, these positions may be required to support project managers in the Engineering department by attending site visits, producing inspection reports, reviewing submittals, and other tasks as needed.

Total Rewards

An hourly rate of pay of $22.60 to $25.38, working 40 hours per week.
