A vibrant municipality is seeking a co-op/summer student in the Engineering department. This role offers the chance to gain diverse engineering experience related to utilities and flood protection. The successful candidate will conduct data analysis, prepare reports, and support utility planning using GIS and other tools. A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence is required, and preference will be given to civil engineering students. A competitive salary of $25.93 - $30.41 per hour plus benefits will be provided.

We have an exciting opportunity for a co-op/summer student to join the Engineering department. The successful candidate will work in a supportive team with the opportunity to attain a broad range of engineering experience including utilities, steep slopes and flood protection.
The successful candidate will be responsible for some of the following assignments:
Preference will be given to applicants currently enrolled in an undergraduate program with a focus on civil engineering studies. Previous experience related to utilities and municipal engineering services would be an asset.
The City of Delta provides a competitive salary of $25.93 - $30.41 per hour + 12% in lieu of vacation, public holidays and benefits. Interested applicants are requested to apply online by March 4, 2026.
