ENGINEERING DIRECTOR

Responsibilities
  • Partner with other department leaders, management executives to drive and improve the product development.
  • Lead, mentor and supervise Draftsman-Designers in the development of the project until customers approval
  • Analyze strategic projects and prioritize accordingly
  • Produce general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings and material lists for approval and fabrication
  • Design tasks (Protocol, calculation, compliance with manufacturing standards)
  • Perform some design calculations
  • Perform dimensional surveys of existing equipment at the customer's site on an occasional basis
  • Follow health and safety guidelines and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Experience: 5 years experience in development of products
  • Ability to effectively communicate and leading a team
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Possessing a good work attitude
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and presentation skills. A team-based approach to results is required.
  • Proficiency in Solid Work logiciel.
  • ERP experience ia an advantage
  • Must have strong attention to details
  • Good planning and organizational skills
