We are seeking a motivated and safety‑conscious Engineering Co‑op Student who is eager to gain practical, hands‑on experience in solid waste management operations. This role is ideal for a student interested in environmental, civil, or mechanical engineering and looking to develop real‑world experience at active landfill sites, particularly in landfill operations, landfill gas collection systems, and environmental compliance.
The Engineering Co‑op Student will support landfill operations and the engineering team with field‑based and office‑based activities, including environmental monitoring, data collection, inspections, reporting, and engineering support related to landfill gas and leachate management systems. This role offers exposure to regulatory compliance, operational best practices, and engineering projects that contribute to environmental protection and greenhouse gas reduction.
Reporting to the Canadian Region Engineering Manager, the student will be based in Woodbridge, Ontario, with opportunities to travel to landfill and waste management facilities across Canada as part of the learning experience.
