Overview

Engineer III, Falcon Host Sensor (Remote, CAN) at CrowdStrike. This role focuses on developing the sensor (lightweight agent) for Windows / Linux / macOS and contributing to the Falcon Host security product.

Responsibilities
  • Lead engineering efforts and collaborate with Product Management to define the scope of work.
  • Demonstrate ownership, accountability, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across product groups that are geographically distributed.
  • Design and develop user-mode software for deployment on Windows systems.
  • Own features from design to delivery.
  • Collaborate with a multi-functional team in various physical locations.
  • Troubleshoot issues with the product as reported by customers responsively.
  • Develop software for products as assigned (e.g., Falcon Discover and more).
What You’ll Need
  • Ability to develop high-quality C++ code for Windows OS, demonstrated through work experience or community contributions.
  • Experience shipping major features and releases as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills in a distributed team.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals.
  • Mac and Linux OS development experience is a plus.
  • Experience building cybersecurity-related products is a plus.
  • Experience with high concurrency and multi-threaded, reliable product code is a plus.
