Job Posting: Enforcement Security Guard

Position Type: Full-Time.
Compensation: Starting at $19.00/hour (includes applicable premiums).

About the Role

LTS Protective Services is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Enforcement Security Guard to lead site-level operations at a high-profile enforcement site. The ideal candidate is confident, detail-oriented, and dedicated to upholding a safe and professional environment.

This leadership role includes overseeing front-line staff, enforcing security protocols, and acting as the primary liaison for emergency response and incident resolution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the security team on-site.
  • Enforce all LTS and site-specific security procedures and policies.
  • Conduct regular foot patrols and NFC checkpoint scans.
  • Oversee access control for restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, emergencies, and calls for service.
  • Complete detailed incident reports and daily activity logs.
  • Conduct on-site inspections and maintain high safety standards.
  • Coordinate shift coverage and deployment plans.
  • Liaise with emergency services, law enforcement, and property stakeholders.
  • Train and mentor junior staff and new hires.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Required Qualifications & Certifications

To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold and maintain the following valid certifications throughout their employment:

  • Ontario Security Guard License (physical or digital copy must be on person while on duty).
  • Standard First Aid & CPR Level C.
  • AODA (Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act) Certification.
  • Use of Force, Handcuffing, and Baton Certification (Stay Safe program or LTS-approved provider).
  • Smart Serve Certification.
  • Ministry of Labour Health and Safety Awareness Training.
  • LTS Code of Conduct Acknowledgement.

Candidates must also:

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
  • Be legally eligible to work in Ontario.
  • Be physically fit and able to perform patrol and intervention duties.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and crisis management skills.
  • Possess a post-secondary diploma in law enforcement (preferred).
Uniform & Equipment Requirements

All employees must wear full LTS-approved tactical uniform while on duty, including:

  • Black Cargo Pants
  • LTS 2-in-1 White Security Shirt
  • LTS Tactical Vest (Level 3A stab-proof body armor)
  • Tactical Duty Belt with inner belt
  • CSA-approved black boots/shoes
  • Handcuffs and Baton (mandatory after Use of Force training)
  • LTS-issued epaulettes and ID badge
  • Reflective safety vest

Employees are responsible for purchasing and maintaining their required uniform and gear. If already owned, personal items may be submitted for approval.

Compensation Details
  • Base Rate: $17.20/hour
  • Premiums:
    • Enforcement Site Premium: +$1.00/hr
    • Courses Premium: +$0.80/hr (applied only if all required certifications are held and active)
Additional Information
  • Full-time schedule: Rotating Sunday to Saturday (60–80 hours biweekly).
  • Biweekly payroll.
  • Vacation pay at 4% of gross wages (paid biweekly).
  • Paid breaks and lunches (for staff required to remain on site during this time).
  • Must be available for rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Immediate dismissal may occur for non-compliance with certification or uniform standards.
