Elementary Teacher Physical Education / Wellness Teacher Temporary / Probationary Maternity Leave Coverage Position Dates : August 25, 2025, to June 30, 2026

Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate alignment with Airdrie Christian Academy's (ACA) mission and vision
  • Responsible for preparing engaging differentiated lesson plans and executing them with excellence
  • Courses include but not limited to Elementary PE, and Wellness, Drama (Grades 4 - 6), and other po
  • Keep an organized, tidy and orderly classroom that promotes learning
  • Create a safe and respectful classroom environment that supports the academic and social development of all students
  • Assess student progress using approved assessment tools
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and support student success
  • Collaborate with other Teachers and staff to support student learning
  • Participate in various staff meeting, professional development and other extra-curricular activities
  • Adheres to applicable policies and procedures
  • Supports wider school program and activities
  • Reports directly to the Principal
Qualifications / Conditions
  • Education Degree
