Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications. Commission systems and components. Conduct voltage, resistance and other tests using electrical test equipment. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations. Conduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance records. Install electrical distribution and transmission systems.
