This role is part of their growing maintenance team, responsible for ensuring operational excellence and reliability as they ramp up production on their welded line (ERW).
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on, technically strong leader to join their ERW maintenance team. The Electrical Patrol Supervisor plays a critical role in troubleshooting automation and electrical issues, leading a small team of electricians and technicians, and ensuring equipment reliability during production.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a small team of electricians, technicians, and apprentices
- Act as the first point of contact for electrical and automation breakdowns on the ERW line
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting to restore equipment functionality quickly
- Implement and monitor short- and mid-term preventive maintenance plans
- Interpret and work with electrical schematics, PLC logic diagrams, and automation systems
- Ensure strict compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and production goals
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments including production, engineering, and maintenance
Leadership
- Manage and track maintenance activities using SAP and other internal systems
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused culture
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing or maintenance
- Steel manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Candidates from related industries (oil & gas, pulp & paper, mining, industrial automation) will also be considered
Technical Skills
- Proficiency with PLC / HMI troubleshooting (Allen Bradley preferred, Siemens and Mitsubishi acceptable)
- Ability to read, interpret, and troubleshoot electrical schematics, automation diagrams, and equipment drawings
- Hands-on knowledge of VFDs, sensors, high-frequency heating equipment, safety systems, and industrial controls
- Familiarity with SAP maintenance systems and other technical reporting tools
Education / Certifications
- 442A Electrical Trade License highly preferred
- Candidates with Electrical Engineering or Automation degrees accepted if they demonstrate strong hands-on troubleshooting capabilities
Leadership & Soft Skills
- Supervisory experience preferred but not required; they are open to developing technically strong electricians into leadership roles
- Ability to lead a small team by example — boots on the ground approach rather than desk-only management
- Collaborative, adaptable, and eager to learn within a diverse, global company

- Post-Training Rotational Cycle: Week 1 — Mon & Tue (Days) → Wed & Thu (Nights) → Off Fri–Mon
