TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer & Project Manager to join our client’s team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a wide range of initiatives involving power distribution, lighting, life safety, and communications systems. You’ll be part of a collaborative environment within a well-established firm known for its integrated approach to design, engineering, and construction across Western Canada.

Responsibilities

• Review technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
• Design and coordinate the integration of electrical systems within new and existing building projects, ensuring alignment with architectural and mechanical components.
• Support business development efforts by identifying opportunities and contributing to proposals.
• Provide expert guidance on code compliance, technical standards, and best practices.
• Conduct site assessments and prepare technical evaluations of existing electrical systems.
• Lead and manage the electrical scope of multidisciplinary projects from concept through construction.
• Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• Eligible for registration in British Columbia or other Western Canadian provinces.
• Strong understanding of Canadian Electrical Code, National and Provincial Building Codes.
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and ETAP.
• Demonstrated experience in building systems design and construction administration.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Local project experience is considered an asset.
