DEPARTMENT: Industrial Operations

Role

We are seeking recent graduates to join our operations teams in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario. The successful candidates will be hired as part of the Global Trainee Program, which includes training, international travel, and networking opportunities.

In this role, you will learn and improve your skills in a specific function, gaining a profound understanding of processes, products, and services. Candidates should hold an Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics Engineering degree with less than four years of related professional experience.

During your time as a Global Trainee (GT), you will:

  • Observe core processes through on‑the‑job training, project assignments, and training activities.
  • Collaborate on critical project execution.
  • Learn about Tenaris strategy, systems, and processes.
  • Analyze information and prepare deliverables such as reports and processes, gaining deep knowledge of the exposed processes.
  • Maintain regular contact with other areas of the company and interact with different hierarchical levels to achieve expected performance and results.
  • Develop and manage a set of Key Performance Indicators to monitor and measure area results.
  • Comply with Tenaris policies, procedures, management standards, and all applicable laws and regulations.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Less than four years of related professional experience.
  • Graduated with an engineering degree in the last four years, specializing in Electrical, Automation, or Mechatronics.
  • Excellent Office Suite skills.
  • Self‑driven and self‑starter.
  • Strong decision‑making skills.
  • Enjoys a fast‑paced environment.
  • Passion for learning and ability to execute high‑level results.

Compensation

Salary range: $69,000 – $85,000 annually. Actual compensation is determined by experience, education, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and market considerations.
