A leading recruitment agency is seeking a Digital Merchandising Manager in Canada. The role involves executing the digital merchandising roadmap, leading e-commerce strategies, and collaborating with marketing teams. Candidates must have 4+ years in e-commerce merchandising and a strong analytical mindset. Design and execute the digital merchandising roadmap to achieve sales, margin, and conversion goals.
Build seasonal category strategies and online assortment plans in alignment with brand and business objectives.
Forecast category and campaign sales; monitor results and quickly adjust tactics to optimize performance.
Lead site merchandising execution — homepage stories, curated collections, category layout, and cross-sell initiatives.
Partner with marketing and creative teams to plan online campaigns, promotions, and product launches that complement the broader brand calendar.
Track and interpret KPIs such as conversion rate, average order value, bounce rate, and sell-through to identify opportunities and recommend actionable solutions.
Manage A/B testing and other performance experiments to refine user experience, navigation, and digital content.
Serve as key stakeholder for new site features and enhancements — search, recommendation engines, personalization, and content tools.
Produce regular performance reports and insight summaries to guide executive decision-making.
Build standardized processes and best practices for digital product setup, taxonomy, and content management.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
4+ years in e-commerce merchandising, digital strategy, or category management within retail, consumer goods, or lifestyle brands.
Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving measurable online growth through data-informed decision-making.
Hands-on experience with major e-commerce platforms and web analytics tools (Google Analytics 4, etc.).
Deep understanding of digital KPIs and the ability to turn insights into strategic initiatives.
Knowledge of online testing, UX optimization, and conversion improvement methods.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills — able to align teams and influence outcomes in a fast-paced, matrix environment.
