The Steam Generator Replacement Team (SGRT) project is a joint venture of Aecon and Framatome, located in Kincardine, Ontario. SGRT is part of the Major Component Replacement project and includes removal of steam generators and installation of replacements with related plant modifications. This project is part of Bruce Power’s Life Extension Program, enabling Bruce Power’s CANDU units to operate safely through 2064. In addition to Unit 3 and Unit 4, SGRT has contracts for Units 5, 7, and 8 as part of the Bruce Major Component Replacement project.
The Project Director reports to the Executive Steering Committee and is accountable for the responsibilities outlined below.
